2018 Shannons Adelaide Chrysler Festival

The 2018 Shannons Adelaide Chrysler Festival incorporating the Mopar Mega Cruise and All Chrysler Day will be held from Friday February 23rd to Sunday February 25th, 2018.

In an exciting first, All Chrysler Day on Sunday 25th February will be held as an open day under the roof of the former Chrysler Australia Main Assembly Building in the Tonsley Innovation District. Entry for Chrysler vehicles, swap sites and spectators will be FREE!

Entry is free thanks to the support of Renewal SA and the naming rights sponsor for the event, Shannons Insurance.

This year’s events will include:

  • Friday lunch cruise to the National Motor Museum at Birdwood, including entry to the museum and a BBQ lunch prepared by the CCCSA.
    • Meet at West Adelaide Football Club from 9:00am for coffee and 9:30 am departure.
    • Please bring $20 per vehicle and $5 per additional passenger. Correct change would be appreciated.
    • Cruise to Birdwood with stop at Melba’s Chocolate Factory then National Motor Museum at about 11:30.
    • Download the details and cruise route here
  • Friday night meet and greet at the Tonsley Hotel in the famous Chrysler Bar from 6pm.
    • Dinner is available and there will be security monitoring of the car park so your pride and joy will be safe.
    • Guest speakers Roger Caroll, Gavin Farmer and Jeff Hughes at 7:30pm (sharp) in the Flinders Room.
  • Saturday evening, 24th February,  we will again be staging the ever-popular Mopar Mega-Cruise.
    • The cruise commences from the southern car park at the Churchill Centre on Churchill Road
    • Ends at Welland Plaza on Port Road.
    • Gather at Churchill Centre from 5pm for a 6pm departure.
    • Cruise route will take approximately an hour so we’ll be at Welland in time for dinner at one of the many food outlets that will be open there, and a chin-wag
  • The weekend will culminate on Sunday 25th February with the All Chrysler Day show and shine under the roof of the former Chrysler Australia Main Assembly Building at the Tonsley Innovation District. All Chrysler and Chrysler related products and including vintage, classic and modern, in any condition, are welcome to attend and display on the day.
    • This year’s show will be very different in many ways – it is to be an open day rather than a traditional car show
    • Entry will be free for vehicles, spectators and swap sites.
    • There will be NO TROPHIES OR JUDGING at this year’s event – that’s one reason why it’s FREE!
    • Vehicle entries prior to the day won’t be required, however we will be asking entrants to register to give us some idea of numbers
    • There is a limit on the number of vehicles that can be parked under the MAB roof, so entry to the venue will be on a first-come, best-dressed basis
    • CoastFM will be broadcasting live on the day.
    • Live Bands – Crossroads and The Groove

Check back here or on our Facebook page for registration forms and further details as they are finalised.
